There are only so many things that can be learned in a leadership workshop. Videos and textbooks can convey CONCEPTS of conflict management, de-escalation of tense situations, and “courageous conversations,” but until a leader is actually in one of those situations, it is all merely theory.
Situational simulations put your people into one-on-one conversations with a trained improviser in order to let them experience some of the more challenging aspects of being a manager in a safe environment where they can receive constructive feedback from you without involving actual employees or clients in actual situations.
Members of the Moment SitSim team will spend time with you discussing some of the more challenging aspects of your team’s work and developing a series of challenging conversations you feel they need to experience. They could be as simple as how to say no to a client or as difficult as termination or layoff conversations. Given the topic at hand, and insight on what type of reactions you would like your team to experience, our improv trainers will take them on a simulated journey that will help them become better leaders.

Any of the above modules can be offered in a less interactive, lecture style presentation. The concepts and lessons will all be the same, without the direct interaction between participants and the facilitator to build and reinforce the skills introduced.
Whether online or in person, Moment can package and entertaining, off-the-cuff improv show as the finale of any workshop. Shows can last from 30 minutes to an hour in length.
